2024 Taste of Buffalo Contest Winners Crowned

Buffalo, New York (WBEN) – The winners of the 2019 Taste of Buffalo have been announced. DA Taste’s Dom’s Taco took home the President’s Award, presented by Taste of Buffalo President Tom Mahoney. Carrubba’s Chicken Pit, featured on WBEN last week, won Rookie of the Year. Dirty Bird Chicken N’ Waffles’ Fried Cauliflower Taco won Best Overall Item. A full list of winners can be found here.

Raymour and Flannigan are teaming up with Harlequin Hobby to host a board game event this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to raise money for Habitat for Humanity Buffalo. The event will be held at the Raymour and Flanigan Outlet at 1650 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. Admission is free, and commemorative tokens are being sold to play games for $5.

According to GasBuddy, Buffalo gas prices held steady last week at $3.56 per gallon. Gas prices across the country increased 2 cents since last Monday, to $3.49.
