Critical missing person report issued for man last seen in Fairfax

FORT BELVOIR, VA – Virginia State Police have issued a missing person report for a man last seen at the Holiday Inn in Fort Belvoir on July 6.

The missing man is Thomas Lester Jr., 66, a black man who is 6 feet tall, 360 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities have no description of the clothing he was wearing.

State police said Monday that Lester may be driving a rented SUV from Enterprise; an exact description and license plate number are unknown.

Lester’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, state police said.
