MPD conducts death investigation | News

Montgomery Police are conducting a death investigation into the death of 21-year-old Tiana Dye of Montgomery.

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, at approximately 10:43 a.m., MPD and fire department paramedics responded to the 400 block of Clanton Avenue after a person had been stabbed. Dye sustained a fatal stab wound and was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The circumstances remain under investigation. MPD says no further information is available. Police ask anyone with knowledge of this death investigation to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP, the Secret Witness hotline at 625-4000 or MPD at 625-2831.
