Motorcyclist injured in accident on US 60

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident on U.S. 60 Sunday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Trp. Nathan Poynter said a westbound 2004 Honda Shadow motorcycle driven by Everett M. Bishop, 20, of Mountain Grove, veered left off the road near Norwood and overturned.

Bishop, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield with moderate injuries.

The motorcycle suffered moderate damage.
