We review all the available futures contracts available to us for each NFL team and pick two of our favorites.

Maybe it’s a player’s future, maybe it’s built on the team itself. Either way, we find two bets for all 32 teams. Today’s target: the Atlanta Falcons.

  • To win the conference: +1300
  • To win the Super Bowl: +3000

Two Future Bets on the Atlanta Falcons

Bijan Robinson wins Offensive Player of the Year (+2000) (DraftKings)

If you prefer an optimistic view of Atlanta’s prospects in 2024, backing Bijan Robinson in certain markets like this might be your best bet.

Robinson has been touted as a can’t-miss prospect, a dynamic and menacing running back who can make plays on the ground and through the air. Hopefully the new coaching staff will have faith in his talent and increase his workload in what looks like a win-now culture, given the signing of Kirk Cousins.

Robinson finished his rookie season with 976 rushing yards, 487 passing yards and eight total touchdowns. Those numbers all need to skyrocket to win Player of the Year honors, but it’s not impossible.

Cousins helped support many of Dalvin Cook’s big seasons as a running back, utilizing him in the passing game, and if Robinson can push for 1,800-2,000 total yards of offense and 12+ touchdowns, he could be among the favorites for this award by the end of the season.

Falcons will not participate in the playoffs (+150) (DraftKings)

This bet is really just a market fad, as they seem a little too optimistic that the Falcons will suddenly figure everything out with an older QB in Cousins coming back from a serious injury.

The Buccaneers have been the NFC South’s most reliable franchise, and that division doesn’t seem likely to produce a wild-card team. Given the choice, we’d have to keep Atlanta off the playoff map, especially with the lingering bad vibes that could come from Michael Penix Jr.’s April draft pick.
