The police are investigating three break-ins and unauthorized entry

Arlington County Police are investigating a number of recent break-in/entry incidents.

• At 4:30 a.m. May 1, a woman returned to her home in the 4500 block of 31st Street South to find jewelry missing.

No other items were reported stolen.

• At 1 a.m. on May 3, a woman forced her way into a secure maintenance room in the 3800 block of 7th Street North and stole equipment before leaving the scene.

The stolen items were recovered in the area and responding officers identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for burglary.

• On May 3 at 10:43 p.m., a man gained entry to the balcony of a residence in the 4500 block of South Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington police said.

Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took him into custody without incident.

The suspect – 36-year-old David Jackson of Arlington – was arrested and charged with unlawful entry.
