Sexual harassment: Woman partially harasses man in Sitamarhi district | Patna News

PATNA: A woman in Sitamarhi district could no longer bear the alleged sexual harassment and allegedly partially molested a 22-year-old youth on Saturday, the second such incident in two weeks.

According to police, the teenager had sexually harassed the 35-year-old married woman over a long period of time.

On Saturday, she called the man at his home and when he agreed, the woman attacked him with a sharp weapon, police added.

The man was writhing in pain and was taken to a private hospital where he received first aid. Police said the youth was out of danger.

However, neither the man nor the woman have filed a lawsuit against each other.

“Soon after I got the information, I sent a police team to take his statement, but he refused. The woman also does not want to file a complaint about her sexual harassment,” Sitamarhi police commissioner Manoj Kumar Tiwari told STOI.

Local police station SHO Amarendra Kumar said neither the youth nor his family members wanted to talk to the police.

“Both the man and the woman said there were some differences of opinion which they would sort out on their own,” the SHO said.

Earlier this month, a woman in Saran district allegedly groped a 28-year-old man with the bobbit and flushed his private parts down the toilet because he repeatedly refused to marry her despite them being in a long-term relationship. The district councillor was in a civil partnership with the woman, who ran a nursing home in the town, police said. The woman was later arrested.
