Police find dead man with multiple gunshot wounds in driveway of abandoned house on east side

SAN ANTONIO – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department found a dead man in the driveway of an abandoned home on the east side Sunday afternoon.

At around 2:30 p.m., SAPD responded to reports of a shooting on Canton Street and St. James Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a man in his late 20s to early 30s dead in the driveway of an abandoned home with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities said they found at least 10 shell casings at the scene.

As of Sunday, July 14, 6:30 p.m., no information is available about the suspect or the identity of the victim.
