Fairfax police arrest Centreville man after four-hour standoff

A man wanted on suspicion of sexual conduct with an 11-year-old barricaded himself in a Centreville home for four hours starting Friday evening before being taken into custody, according to a Fairfax County police news release.

SWAT officers arrived in the 13800 block of Fount Beattie Court shortly before 10 p.m. Friday to arrest Cody Christopher Flynn and conduct a search, the release said. The statement said detectives with the Child Exploitation Unit received information that led them to believe Flynn had contact with the child.
