Kansas man found dead in vehicle

SEDGWICK COUNTY – Law enforcement continues to investigate another fatal shooting in Wichita.

Patrol East officers, detectives and crime scene investigators were at the scene of a fatal shooting that occurred near 2800 E. Douglas early Monday, according to police spokesman Andrew Ford.

Officers heard gunshots in the area and located a vehicle containing a 35-year-old male victim.

Investigators continue to work to collect evidence and speak to witnesses. The shooting does not appear to be accidental. Police have not released the victim’s name or reported an arrest.
