Palestinian woman armed with knife arrested in Me’aras Hamachpelah

According to police officials, border police arrested a Palestinian woman armed with a knife at the entrance to Me’aras Hamachpelah in Chevron.

The 37-year-old woman, who is married to a Hamas terrorist currently imprisoned in Israel, was stopped with her two children. Police reported that she refused to cooperate during a routine check and tried to intervene. Officers then discovered a hidden knife under her shirt.

The woman was immediately arrested along with one of her sons. The second son was detained for a short time.

Israeli police stated that during her arrest, the woman confessed her intention to carry out a knife attack on a specific member of the security forces operating in the area.
