Suspect arrested for rape in Liberty Lake

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – A suspect was arrested on rape charges in Pavillion Park Friday night.

According to Liberty Lake Police, the suspect attacked the victim around 6:30 p.m. Officers checked the victim’s welfare and took a description of the suspect. They were able to catch up to and arrest the suspect, who was still in the area.

The suspect is currently in the Spokane County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and further details have not been released.
