Several minors arrested after allegedly major brawl

PHOENIX – Several minors were arrested Saturday after a large fight allegedly broke out at a mental health center in Phoenix, authorities confirmed.

Around 8 p.m., officers were called to the center near Interstate 17 south of Deer Valley Road for reports of a large fight in which patients allegedly attacked staff.

When officers arrived, pepper balls were used to de-escalate the fight, resulting in several patients being hospitalized for eye irritation.

According to police, several minors were arrested and taken to prison.

No further information was available at that time.
