In a video showing the exact moment of the horrific event, Donald Trump is seen addressing a large gathering of his fans when many gunshots are heard. After the first shots, which surprised Donald Trump, he is seen holding his right ear and then hastily disappearing behind the stage curtains. Visibly confused and frightened, the crowd behind him ducked to avoid the bullets.

As they escort Trump to safety and off the stage, Secret Service agents quickly rush to his aid. As he is being evacuated, Trump raises his fist in the air. His right ear is visible as bleeding.

After the incident, Trump’s campaign team said the president was “fine” and was being evaluated at a hospital. “President Trump thanks first responders and law enforcement for their quick response during this horrific incident. He is being evaluated at a nearby medical facility and is doing well. We will release more information soon,” said spokesman Steven Cheung.

According to US media, two people were killed, including the suspected shooter. “Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger said two people were dead, including a suspected shooter,” the Washington Post reported.

US President Joe Biden has condemned the attack on his political rival. “I am grateful to hear that he is safe and doing well. I am praying for him and his family and for everyone who was at the rally as we await more information,” Biden said in a post on X.
