Three-year-old girl raped in Mhow; minor arrested

Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Badgonda police in Mhow tehsil have arrested a minor boy for raping a three-year-old girl on Saturday afternoon. Mhow ASP Roopesh Dwivedi said the mother of a three-year-old girl had lodged a complaint of rape of her daughter following which Badgonda police took the youth into custody and the case is currently under investigation. A police team has taken the girl to Mhow Civil Hospital where a medical examination of the girl was conducted.

Based on this report, the case was registered. Meanwhile, a suspect named by the girl was arrested and questioned. The girl’s mother told media representatives that her daughter, who is not even three years old, came to her and her neighbor crying at around 3 p.m. and she noticed blood stains on her dress.

They then examined her internally and found that her private parts were bleeding. “On our complaint, the police took her to Mhow Civil Hospital where she was examined.”

My daughter has mentioned the name of the accused and the police have taken him into custody and are now taking action against him,” the mother added. “The families of the youth and the girl live in huts outside the village. They are construction workers and the accused is also a minor,” said Lokendra Singh Hirore, the superintendent of the police station.
