Accident: Fatal accident on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Two people were killed and three injured when a speeding SUV overturned near pillar number 206 on Kuntalwas Bridge under Rahuwas police station area of ​​Lalsot (Dausa) on Saturday morning. Police said the SUV, travelling from Delhi to Maharashtra, lost control due to high speed, resulting in a fatal rollover in which the vehicle was completely crushed. The victims, identified as Sonu (40) and Sharan Veer Singh (36) of Chandigarh, died on the spot. The injured were shifted to Dausa District Hospital. One of the critically injured, identified as Kamarjeet Singh, was referred to Jaipur for further treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at Dausa Hospital and are awaiting postmortem. Although the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan and Haryana has only been operational for 15 months, there has been a rise in accidents. Over 100 deaths have been reported in the last 15 months, mostly due to speeding and driver fatigue. Wild animals have also contributed to some incidents.
