Motorcyclist killed in collision in North Bethesda; police investigating

Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday, July 13, 2024, on Old Georgetown Road.

According to police, “At approximately 5 p.m., officers from the 2nd District and Montgomery County Fire Department responded to the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Nicholson Lane for a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The adult male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The adult female driver of the pickup truck was uninjured and remained at the scene.”
