Video shows cyclist confronting suspect with gruesome suitcase on Clifton Suspension Bridge

The main suspect wanted by police after two suitcases containing human remains were found on the Clifton Suspension Bridge was attacked by a cyclist and filmed as he attempted to flee the scene. The suspect can be seen shouting at the cyclist in a state of apparent panic, according to video footage released by The Sun.

The pictures were taken by the cyclist on the night when body parts were discovered in two blood-soaked suitcases on the famous bridge.

The video shows a man running down the street before the cyclist approaches him. When he sees the cyclist, he appears to panic and begins screaming in Spanish. The man can be heard yelling “vete, vete” – which translates to “go away, go away” before shouting “Mi jefe es muy malo” – which means “my boss is really bad.”

Officers from the Metropolitan Police and Avon and Somerset Constabulary, who are investigating the grisly discoveries, released stills from the video earlier this week as they launched a manhunt for the suspect. In the video, the man can be seen attempting to knock the phone out of the cyclist’s hand before running off into the night.

Today it was confirmed that further body parts linked to the Bristol investigation were discovered in a flat in London’s West End. In a statement, the Metropolitan Police confirmed the link, adding: “We believe the remains are linked to the human remains found in Bristol and that there are still two male victims.”

The Metropolitan Police also said they now believe they know who the victims were, although Formal identification is still pending. Police said next of kin needed to be contacted, but said they believed the victims were known to their killer.
