Man shot at Grey Parc Apartments in east Macon

Demarious Brown, 31, answered the door Saturday morning and got into an argument before he was shot, his girlfriend said

MACON, Georgia – A man was shot and killed at the Grey Parc Apartments in east Macon Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

31-year-old Demarious Brown died shortly after opening the door of his apartment at around 10 a.m.

Brown’s girlfriend said he was arguing with the person at the door. Then she heard a gunshot and took cover.

She said she recognized the voice but couldn’t say who it was.

Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced him dead at the scene at 10:30 a.m. Next of kin have been notified.
