Man arrested for violating restraining order: GPS tracker installed in victim’s car

CROMWELL, Connecticut (WFSB) – A Cromwell man was arrested for electronic stalking after installing a GPS tracking device in a car.

Police said they began their investigation in May when the victim reported finding a GPS tracking device in his car.

After a lengthy investigation, police determined that the tracking device had been placed by 48-year-old Lorenc Cenko of Wethersfield.

According to police, the victim knew Cenko.

He was arrested for electronic stalking and criminal violation of a restraining order.

Cenko has posted bail of $25,000.00 and is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on July 15.
