A 5-year-old girl was found with a gunshot wound to the head and taken to Lubbock Hospital. According to the CPD, little Eleia was kidnapped. Police said Cisneros was the mother of both children.

Police said on the day of the incident, the two women and children stopped at Twin Cronnie’s to pick up some food. The group then went to Dollar Tree, in the 3900 block of North Prince Street, before heading to the park. Police said a witness walking in the park “thought he heard gunshots, but this was not immediately reported to law enforcement.”
