What channel is the Bills game on? How to watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys

ORCHARD PARK – As if the Buffalo Bills defense hasn’t suffered enough from injuries, it appears they will be without two additional core players Sunday afternoon, and with the high-flying Dallas Cowboys coming to town , this is not the ideal time.

Coach Sean McDermott confirmed Wednesday that edge rusher AJ Epenesa (ribs) and safety Micah Hyde (stinger) will be “week to week” and in saying that, it’s almost a given that neither player will be on the roster. field against a Cowboys attack. who ranks No. 1 in the NFL with 32.4 points per game including 39.7 in his last three.

“They’re explosive,” McDermott said of the Cowboys led by quarterback Dak Prescott who has thrown 15 touchdowns and just one interception during Dallas’ five-game winning streak. “I think it’s a very talented offense. They’re tough to stop and when you get them on third down, they’re the No. 1 third down team in the NFL, so it’s going to take a hell of a defensive effort.

The Bills played the last two months without cornerback Tre’Davious White, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones and linebacker Matt Milano. Along the way, defensive linemen Von Miller, Greg Rousseau and Ed Oliver all missed games, as did defensive backs Jordan Poyer, Christian Benford, Kaiir Elam, Taylor Rapp and Dane Jackson.

Epenesa, who is having the best season of his career, and Hyde are now absent. That’s not ideal against a Dallas offense that is No. 1 in first downs per game (23.4) and third-down conversions (49.1%), fourth in yards (381.5) and second in passing yards (262.8).

Last week on the Sunday Night Football pregame show, Rodney Harrison said, “I have to give props to Mike McCarthy. I think he did a wonderful job this year. He transformed Dak Prescott into an MVP, CeeDee Lamb into an All-Pro. He did a great job this year.

McDermott agreed, and he said the Bills defense — despite all the injuries — had to find a way to play its best game.

“You have to start with ourselves and make sure we are fundamentally strong,” he said. “In particular, we tackle well and get out of blocks. It’s a confrontational game and it’s a tough matchup because of the skills they have. And I think Dak plays very well.
