Highs will be above 90 degrees again today, but it will feel even hotter as the feel temperature rises above 90 degrees. While it will be mostly sunny and dry, there is a chance of a brief shower this afternoon, especially in areas south of I-40.

The heat continues on Sunday, with air temperatures slightly higher than today, but humidity still making it feel like it’s over 37 degrees. Just like today, a brief shower is possible in the afternoon, but most will stay dry.

Monday is expected to be Nashville’s hottest day of the year so far. The forecast is for us to reach 100º in the afternoon, but it will still feel several degrees hotter due to the humidity. Be sure to stay hydrated and limit your time outdoors as much as possible.

The heat will continue through Tuesday, but there will finally be some relief with a few rain showers. While it will still be hot and humid, showers and a few thunderstorms will develop in the Midwest. Rain chances will remain on Wednesday with isolated thunderstorms.
