IMPD: 1 dead in shooting in northeast Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a person was shot in northeast Indy Saturday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 4100 block of Edgemere Court shortly before 3:30 a.m. because a person had been shot.

When officers arrived, they found a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Police say the person was pronounced dead.
