4 people arrested after probation officers allegedly found weapons and meth

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The Kern County Probation Department conducted a home visit Wednesday that resulted in several arrests and the seizure of firearms.

On July 10, the Kern County Probation Department arrested four people in the 2700 block of Dracena Street in Bakersfield. Officers searched a home and allegedly discovered an AR-15-style assault rifle, ammunition, methamphetamine and a digital scale. Juan Porras, Trudi Pena, Alfred Herrera and Martha Noriega were arrested for alleged membership in a criminal street gang, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm and other drug offenses, officials said.

Porras, Pena and Herrera were also arrested for criminal possession of weapons and criminal possession of ammunition.
