Children missing after Sacramento mother found dead, possibly in Southern California

UM, JUST KNOWING THEY MAY STILL BE IN CALIFORNIA. FAMILY SAYS CAMERON HAS CONNECTIONS TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. HE PROBABLY DROPPED THEM SOMEWHERE. BUT IF THAT’S DONE, THESE PEOPLE NEED TO COME IN AND LET US KNOW WHERE THESE BABIES ARE BECAUSE WE NEED THEM HOME. WE NEED THEM HOME ASAP. THE FAMILY NEEDS ANSWERS TOO. I HAVE SHARED THEIR FRUSTRATION WITH THE SACRAMENTO POLICE DEPARTMENT’S INVESTIGATION, WHO TELLS ME THAT IN CASES LIKE THIS, THE DETECTIVES HAVE TO WEIGH WHAT THEY CAN AND CAN’T SAY SO AS NOT TO JEOPARDIZE THEIR INVESTIGATION INTO THE CHILDREN. BUT THE POLICE SAY THEIR TOP PRIORITY IS TO FIND THEM. JUST HOPE THEY ARE OK. ORCA. THEY SAID THE CHP HAS ISSUED AN ENDANGERED MISSING PERSONS ALERT. WHAT EXACTLY IS THAT? SO AN EMA IS BASICALLY AN ALERT THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT ISSUES WHEN THERE IS A DISAPPEARANCE THAT APPEARS SUSPICIOUS AND INVOLVES CHILDREN AT RISK. THERE ARE CRITERIA TO ACTIVATE IT. This includes if the missing persons disappeared under suspicious circumstances and if they are believed to be in danger due to their age or are in the company of a potentially dangerous person. These flyers were sent out for a reason. So if anyone sees these two children or Cameron Lee, they are asked to call 911. Absolutely. Well, we know the search is ongoing.

Two children missing after their mother was found dead in a north Sacramento home on Monday may be in Southern California, Sacramento police said. Officials said there is a possibility the two children were abandoned there. Sacramento police and the California Highway Patrol issued a missing persons alert in the southern part of the state on Thursday. Officers went to a home on Didcot Circle off Norwood Avenue in north Sacramento around 7:30 p.m. on Monday to take a 911 call, police said. There they found a woman dead. On Wednesday, the woman’s family identified her to KCRA 3’s Orko Manna as 28-year-old Angelica Bravo.“We want justice. We want justice for our angel. She’s our angel. She touched everybody,” Angelica’s boyfriend Robert Brown told KCRA 3. During the investigation, police were unable to locate the Bravos’ two children or the children’s father, police said. The children were identified as 4-year-old Athena Lee and 2-year-old Mateo Lee. The father is 38-year-old Camron Lee. Police believe the children are with Camron but have not been able to reach him and want to speak to him about their whereabouts. They have not, however, named him as a suspect. Sacramento police and the California Highway Patrol issued an alert Thursday for endangered missing persons in the southern part of the state.

On Monday around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a home on Didcot Circle, off Norwood Avenue in north Sacramento, to respond to a 911 call, police said, where they found a woman dead.

On Wednesday, the woman’s family identified her to KCRA 3’s Orko Manna as 28-year-old Angelica Bravo.

“We want justice. We want justice for our angel. She’s our angel. She touched everyone,” Angelica’s boyfriend Robert Brown told KCRA 3.

The police department said that during their investigation, their investigators were unable to locate the Bravos’ two children or their father. The children are 4-year-old Athena Lee and 2-year-old Mateo Lee. The father is 38-year-old Camron Lee.

Police believe the children are with Camron. They have not been able to contact him yet and would like to speak to him about the children’s whereabouts. However, they have not named him as a suspect.
