Traffic alert: Virginia Beach police investigate serious accident

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Police are investigating an accident that occurred Friday, the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) said.

The VBPD responded to a serious accident at N. Witchduck Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard.

Westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard has been closed. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area.

There is currently no information about any injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
