Two dead in shooting in Richland Drive

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Columbus police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead.

Police said they received a call about a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 1100 block of Richland Drive around 6:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they found two bodies inside the home.

According to CPD, the violent crimes unit is on scene and an investigation into the death is ongoing.
