ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) – Round Rock police responded to a call Thursday regarding an unusual “suspect.”

The agency said in a social media post that its animal control officers responded to a call reporting a bobcat cub playing with packages on a porch.

“The mischievous little cat was safely transported to a local wildlife rehabilitator where he will receive ‘personal’ VIP (Very Important Predator) treatment until he is old enough to be released,” RRPD said in the post.

Photos showed the kitten safe in a cage while waiting for transport.
