Gloversville Police Respond to Shooting

GLOVERSVILLE, NY (NEWS10) — Gloversville Police responded to a shooting incident near 189 Spring Street on Monday. Police say the incident occurred around 12:38 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence at the scene that multiple shots had been fired. No injuries were reported. Police said they received information that the suspect who fired the shots had fled prior to their arrival.

Surveillance footage shows a suspect wearing a hoodie, light colored pants and dark shoes. Police say there is no reason to believe there is an ongoing threat to the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective A. Wilson at (518) 773-4596 or email [email protected].
