Hyatt Centric investigation leads to closure of Front Street in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Memphis police have closed the busy intersection of Front and Beale streets in downtown as they investigate a crime scene in front of the Hyatt Centric hotel.

The investigation extends from the corner of Beale Street and Front Street to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

We are trying to determine how long traffic will be closed due to the investigation.

Prepare for alternate routes and avoid the area for now.
