Houston Traffic: Hardy Toll Road Closed for Electrical Repairs

HOUSTON — The Hardy Toll Road from Parker Road to the North Loop will be closed starting at 11 a.m. Friday to allow CenterPoint Energy to continue working on power restoration efforts after Beryl ravaged the area.

The HCTRA said a few other locations will be closed nearby as a precaution:

Additionally, drivers heading south on the Hardy Toll Road will be required to take the Parker Road/Tidwell Road exit ramp.

The shutdown comes as CenterPoint reported that more than 877,000 customers were still without power in the Houston area as of Friday morning.
