Atlanta United season ticket prices to increase for 2025 MLS season

Fans will see an average increase of $1.89 per ticket per game, or $34.02 more for the season.

The average ticket price increase is 6%. More details on prices will be included in the packages sent by the team to holders.

Next year’s season ticket will include 18 games: 17 MLS games and one Leagues Cup home game. New season ticket holders will also be eligible for the free Apple MLS season pass, the club will pay for away tickets for all games except Inter Miami, the ticket transfer program and, in 2025, the club will offer a buyout program for those who know in advance which of the 18 games they will not be able to attend.

Club president Garth Lagerwey said Thursday he understands that some ticket holders are upset about the increase. The club sits 10th in the Eastern Conference, fired manager Gonzalo Pineda and sold two standouts, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Thiago Almada, and is about to sell another, Caleb Wiley. It was eliminated from the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday by USL team Indy Eleven.

“We’re always looking for a balance, so the price/benefit ratio, and we think this is the right balance for us,” he said. “We’ve taken players off the team, it’s not as good as it was two months ago. But it’s such a cool opportunity now because we can do some fun things. Now we can add players that are going to be here for a long time.”

“I understand why people are nervous and say, ‘Lagerwey has no idea,’ but I’ve done this before and with decent results. I would ask people to be patient and see how we come out the other side, not just this handover period – I would say probably two or three years from the finished product of where I want to take us – but… we’ve been through the subtraction part. And now we have to add, and adding parts, I can assure you, is a lot more fun than subtracting.”

Subscribers should begin receiving renewal notices next week. The deadline to make a renewal decision will be August 15, at which time accounts will begin to be charged.

Don Rovak, vice president of sales and service for AMB Sports and Entertainment, said the club expects a retention rate of at least 90%.

When the 2025 MLS schedule is released, season ticket holders will have a window to be determined during which they can decide which home games they can attend. For games they cannot attend, they will be able to return their tickets to Atlanta United and receive a credit for next season. If a decision cannot be made on whether to attend a game within that window, the holder can utilize the club’s transfer program.

Molly B’s Lounge is set to open in late August and will feature 152 seats priced at $6,400 per set per season under a three-year contract. The lounge includes chef stations, food, alcohol, larger seats and the right to purchase tickets to international soccer games at the stadium. Rovak said sales are strong for the lounge. Sales include regular-season and playoff games for the remainder of this season through the 2027 season under the contract.
