Seven people were killed and 43 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine last day

At least seven civilians have been killed and at least 43 injured, including children, in Russian attacks in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, regional authorities said on the morning of July 12.

The Ukrainian air defense has shot down all five Kh-101 cruise missiles aimed at Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region, as well as eleven of the 19 Shahed drones launched overnight, the Air Force said.

In Dnipropetrovsk OblastTwo people were injured in Russian drone and artillery attacks on the Nikopol district on July 11, said Governor Serhii Lysak.

In Donetsk OblastAccording to Governor Vadym Filashkin, four people were killed and 21 injured in the past few days.

A 15-year-old boy was reportedly killed and 13 people injured, including two 13-year-old boys, when Russia launched two attacks on the town of Myrnohrad on July 11, damaging about 20 buildings.

In Raihorodok, one person was killed and three injured, in Novoselivka Persha, one person was killed and two injured, in Siversk, one person was killed and two injured, and in Lyman, one person was injured, Filashkin reported.

In Kharkiv OblastThree people were killed and 13 injured, reported Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

Two men and a woman were killed and nine people were injured in a Russian attack on the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz in Chuhuiv district on July 11. Four more civilians were injured when Russian forces attacked the village of Borova in Izium district on the same day, the governor said.

Russian attacks against Kherson Oblast According to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, seven people were injured over the past day. Infrastructure facilities, gas pipelines, agricultural and municipal enterprises, residential buildings and other property were reportedly damaged.

Two civilians were injured when Russia attacked the municipality of Seredyna-Buda in Sumy Oblast on July 11, the regional administration said.

The Chernihiv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.

Russian pilot passed on personal data of his Russian aviation department to Ukraine, a source said

“He was shocked by the attack on the children’s hospital and decided to hand over to the Ukrainian side documents related to the activities of his military unit, as well as private photographs of the command staff,” the source said.
