Strikes could delay start-up of Atlanta FPSO off Brazil

Enauta has released an update on the development of its Atlanta oil field in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.

After completion of FPSO anchoring operations Atlanta In June, the first producing well and all its connections to the service lines are in place.

The process of connecting the second producer, which will allow production to start on the new platform, should be completed in the coming weeks, followed by the connection of the other four producers.

However, the strikes that have just been announced by the heads of the regulatory agencies could have an impact on the production start-up schedule.

Due to the uncertainty, Enauta has chosen to postpone the anticipated return of system production via the FPSO Jarl Oil for the next fifteen days.
