4 teenagers injured in accident with Henning quad, one flown out by helicopter

Henning, MN – At approximately 11:36 a.m. Thursday morning (July 11), the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to an ATV accident with injuries north of Henning.

Four young girls were in the vehicle when the driver lost control and the quad overturned.

All four girls were injured, including the 14-year-old driver from Deer Creek, who was flown by helicopter to Fargo Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The other three teenagers were taken to a local hospital by private vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Henning Ambulance, Astera Ambulance and Henning Fire Department.
