Woman sexually harassed by fake Cuban Uber driver, police report

A 38-year-old Cuban, identified as Alberto Angulo Lopezappeared in court and was charged with kidnapping and assault after allegedly posing as Uber driver picking up a young woman, then groping her and refusing to take her home.

The incident occurred on February 28 last year when two women were attacked after leaving a nightclub in Miami Beach at 4:30 a.m., found that their car had been towed. During the trip, the man allegedly began to touch her genitals and asked her if she had ever “tried the Cuban penis.” “I said to myself: I have two options, either find a way out of here or wait for him to rape me and hope that he will then take pity on me and let me go home,” said the Hispanic woman.

The victim managed to share his location in real time with a known person and warn Alberto Angulo that this person would call the police if he did not reach his destination. Finally, Angulo López put her in homesteada different location than agreed, demanding money before departure.

“I don’t know if he thought I would want to see him again, but he gave me his number for a cell wire transfer because I sent him everything through Zelle… He gave me his number and even made me follow him on social media,” the woman added.
