2 men charged with sexually abusing children at an Altoona nursing home in the early 2000s

EAU CLAIRE (WKBT) – Two men are suspected of sexually abusing three young children in Altoona 20 years ago.

Christopher, 41, and Daniel Rodriguez, 39, made their first appearance in Eau Claire District Court Thursday morning.

According to the criminal complaint, several women accused Christopher of sexually abusing them several times between the ages of three and six.

The attacks are said to have taken place in a nursing and day care home in Altoona in the early 2000s.

A third victim stated that both Christopher and Daniel had sexually abused him for years, starting when he was seven years old.

Christopher is accused of three counts of sexual abuse of the same child. He is free on $250,000 bail.

Daniel is charged with a felony and signed a $75,000 bond on Thursday.

Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for August 27.
