MSP: Police officers involved in shooting in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Michigan – Shots were fired by Michigan State Police officers Wednesday afternoon.

According to MSP, officers from the Fifth District Fugitive Team fired shots in the 2200 block of Regent Street around 3 p.m.

MSP said none of the police officers or suspects involved were injured.

The incident is still in the preliminary investigation phase and MSP said more details will be released soon.
