JSO comes to ASAP Towing during “active investigation” on the west side of town

JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – Several members of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office showed up at an ASAP Towing location in the west on Thursday to execute a search warrant, a spokesperson confirmed to News4JAX.

It was not immediately clear what the search warrant referred to, but a JSO spokesman said it was an “active investigation.”

During the afternoon, JSO officers were observed carrying boxes out of the 103rd Street location and loading them into a vehicle.

News4JAX has requested further information regarding this investigation.

The towing company recently came under fire when residents of a St. Johns County neighborhood accused the company of taking advantage of people who park there.
