Man chokes woman from behind, drags and rapes her in horrific attack in the Bronx

A man threw a belt around a woman’s neck, dragged her between two cars and sexually assaulted her. This was a horrific attack in the Bronx that was captured on surveillance footage.

The attacker was seen sneaking up behind the 45-year-old victim as he walked on a sidewalk near the corner of E. 152nd St. and Third Ave. around 3 a.m. last Wednesday. in the South Bronx, police said.

The frightening video shows the man, whose face was covered with a white towel, lassoing his belt around the victim’s neck and pulling him to the ground.

A man was caught on video putting a belt around a woman’s neck in the Bronx on May 1 and dragging her between two cars where he sexually assaulted her.

The attacker dragged the woman along the sidewalk several times while she put her hands on her neck and struggled to remove her belt, according to video obtained by the Daily News.

When the man pulled her by the neck between two parked cars, she lost consciousness.

The sick man regularly glanced over the cars while bending down several times. He then climbed on top of the woman and raped her.

The man fled after the attack and is still wanted by police. The NYPD’s Special Victims Unit is investigating the disturbing incident.

According to the NYPD on May 5, 511 people across the city have been victims of rape so far this year.

The number is the same as last year, when just as many people reported rapes to police, data shows.

Last month, 124 people were raped across the city, police said. The number is up 5% compared to April 2023, when 118 people were raped.
