Jackson police are investigating a shooting. A 16 WAPT News crew saw a man being placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance that took him to a hospital. Several Jackson police officers and detectives were on the scene around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Detective Tommie Brown said the man was shot twice and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Several police officers and detectives from Jackson were on the scene around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
