KSP: Two dead, two arrested in shooting in Perry | News

Two people were killed and one injured in a shooting on July 10, which also led to the arrest of two people.

According to Matt Gayheart, spokesman for the Kentucky State Police, an altercation occurred between several people in the Polly Hollow area around 3 a.m.

“At some point a firearm was involved and two people died and at least one other person was injured,” Gayheart said.

According to Gayheart, the two people killed in the shooting were 18-year-old Anthony Stidham of Bonneyman and 20-year-old Braxton Marlowe of Hazard.

According to Gayheart, no information has yet been released about the third person injured in the incident.

According to Gayheart, two people were arrested shortly before noon on July 10 in connection with the deaths at an apartment in Jeff.

Gayheart said 20-year-old Treston Combs of Bulan was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, two counts of reckless endangerment and attempted murder, and 19-year-old Emmaleigh Collins of Jeff was charged with two counts of aiding and abetting murder.
