A man accused of a machete attack on a teenager in an alleged road rage incident will be heard on Thursday

MEGAN, WE ARE EXPECTED TO RECEIVE THE GRAND JURY REPORT FOR 38-YEAR-OLD PATRICK TUCKER SOMETIME THIS MORNING. BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT HE IS CURRENTLY CHARGED WITH AGGRESSIVE ROBBERY AND AGGRAVED BODILY INJURY. AND HE WAS ALSO RELEASED FROM PRISON ON BOND. BUT I WANT TO TAKE YOU BACK TO THE BEGINNING, BECAUSE ON JULY 1, COLERAIN POLICE SAY, TUCKER CONFRONTED THE JUVENILE AT A RED LIGHT ON COLERAINE AVENUE RIGHT BY THE WALMART AFTER AN INCIDENT OF TRAFFIC AGGRESS ON RONALD REAGAN HIGHWAY. AT THAT TIME, INVESTIGATORS SAY, THE JUVENILE WAS CUTS IN HIS ARM AND LEG WITH A MACHETE AND HIS SHOES WERE STOLEN, ACCORDING TO THE 911 CALLS. THE JUVENILE TOLD POLICE HE WAS ATTACKED IN HIS CAR BY FOUR PEOPLE. THE JUVENILE’S MOTHER SAID A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT DURING THE INCIDENT. WE NOW ALSO KNOW THAT A 40-YEAR-OLD HAS ALSO BEEN CHARGED WITH OBSTRUCTION OF THE PROCEEDINGS IN THIS CASE. NOW BACK TO TUCKER. THE GRAND JURY REPORT IS SUPPORTED TO BE OUT SOMETIME TODAY. A man accused of stabbing a teenager with a machete and stealing his shoes during a fit of rage will be held Thursday. Police say the incident occurred on a busy stretch of Colerain Avenue. We await the grand jury report on the charges against 38-year-old Patric Tucker. He is currently charged with assault and aggravated robbery. Tucker is out of jail on bail. On July 1, Colerain police say, Tucker confronted the teenager at a red light on Coleraine Avenue, right next to Walmart, after a fit of rage on Ronald Reagan Highway. During that time, investigators say, the teen was injured in the arm and leg with a machete and his shoes were stolen. According to 911 calls, the teen told police he was attacked by four people in his car. The teen’s mother said a 14-year-old girl was in the passenger seat during the incident. According to court documents, Tucker was released on $20,000 bail a day after the attack. Another man, 40-year-old Brian Benjamin, was charged with obstruction of justice in the case.

According to police, it happened on a busy section of Colerain Avenue.

Tucker was released from prison on bail.
