Arrests were made in three states in the course of the North Carolina murder investigation

CHARLOTTE, NC (NEWS FROM QUEEN CITY) — Multiple arrests have been made in three different states in connection with the murder of a man in Uptown Charlotte in June of this year, CMPD said.

Authorities said the body of 36-year-old Corey Damoan Robinson was found in the 500 block of North Graham Street on Friday, June 14, after CMPD officers were called to a welfare check.

On 2 July, the case officially classified as murder after “further investigation,” the CMPD said.

On July 10, CMPD announced the arrest of three people in North Carolina, Nebraska and Tennessee.

The three suspects were arrested several days apart. Lasha Lynne Big Eagle, 37, was taken into custody on July 2 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and identity theft.

Ayyad Faour Sukkar, 24, was arrested on July 5 in Memphis, Tennessee, and charged with murder, common law robbery, theft of bank cards and theft of a motor vehicle.

The third suspect, Tracey Pinnix Sukkar, 50, was located here in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 9 and charged with obtaining property by false pretense and identity theft.

According to authorities, ten agencies across the United States assisted in these arrests.
