Shooting on I-65 in Birmingham leaves one dead

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (WIAT) – Birmingham police are looking for answers after a fatal shooting on I-65 near the 32nd Avenue exit Wednesday evening.

BPD investigators said they found a man shot in the driver’s seat of a car after it crashed into the median barrier just before 11 p.m. The unidentified driver was taken to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
