Benji Gregory, the child star who ALFdied at the age of 46

Gregory’s body was found on June 13; the cause of death has not yet been determined.

Accordingly TMZThe actor was found in his car in a Chase Bank parking lot in Peoria, Arizona, next to the body of his service dog, Hans.

Rebecca, the actor’s sister, told the news agency about her brother that the child star suffered from bipolar disorder, depression and a sleep disorder that sometimes kept him awake for days.

The outlet notes that Gregory’s friends believe he may have died of heat stroke after falling asleep in his car.

Gregory appeared in all four seasons of the 1980s sitcom ALFan acronym for “Alien Life Form”.

In the series, which aired in the UK on ITV, the alien crash-landed in the garage of the Tanner family, led by Max Wright and Anne Scedeen. Gregory played son Brian and Andrea Elson his sister Lynn.

Before securing the role in ALFGregory, whose grandmother was his agent, appeared on television shows including Fantasy Island, TJ Hooker And Twilight Zone – The Hidden World.

In the 1990s he was a guest star in the sitcom Punky Brewster and lent his voice to the cartoon Once upon a time there was a forestGregory also voiced the character of Biff Tannen in an animated version of Robert Zemeckis’ hit 1985 film Back to the Future. Tannen was played by Thomas F. Wilson in the series.

Over the next decade, Gregory enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably medically discharged in 2005. After officially leaving the Navy in 2006, he married his wife, Sarah.
