Heavy police presence in Alameda – NBC Bay Area

Police responded to a shooting in Alameda that left at least three people dead.

Officers arrived at a residence in the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Road after a neighbor reported gunshots.

In addition to the dead, others were found with apparent gunshot wounds, according to Alameda police. The injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to APD, a suspect is in custody.
