AT&T, Compudopt to Donate 250 Laptops to Atlanta Students – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — AT&T and Compudopt, an Atlanta-based technology and education startup, donated 250 refurbished laptops to The Salvation Army’s Rya & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Thursday morning.

The laptops will be distributed by the Salvation Army to students and families in Atlanta, according to a statement from AT&T.

The company said the laptop giveaway is part of its AT&T Connected Learning initiative, designed to bridge the digital divide through internet access and affordable, safe technology adoption.
