ESCANABA — October has been arguably the busiest month for Players de Noc over the past three years. The first two weekends were the season opener, the following weekend was the group’s historic cemetery walk, and the month ended with “The Night of Magic and Sorcery.” To ease some of the workload on Players members and volunteers, “Playing Dead: A Cemetery Walk with Players de Noc” has been moved this year to July 16, 19 and 20.

Adjusting the schedule so that Playing Dead takes place in July also allows tourists and other summer travelers to participate in the walk. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased online at http://www.playersdenoc.org or during the event at Lakeview Cemetery, where the walk will take place. Tours will depart every 10 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Another change to the schedule is a series of tours on Tuesday evenings. The first tours that evening were pre-booked by a group traveling to Delta County next week. Players de Noc is once again pleased to partner with the Lakeview Cemetery Board on this event.
